oops, a new problem

Monday 09:21 (local time)   Well, as I was getting ready to go to the train station, the car rental company called to tell me the total charges.  That's when I found out that there is a 1,30 Złoty per kilometer charge to return the car to a different city.  It would amount to several hundred dollars.  I read their website carefully and there was no mention of that.  I thought it was a national car rental company, but it seems they are just a national broker for several local companies.  So, now my plan is to take the train to Krakow and rent a car there and drive to Zakopane.  I end up getting there about the same time.   Daniel
